The Couples I Admire the Most

First, Surya-Jyotika

The relationship was established on a pure love and understanding. In fact, everyone does. But what is special in their relationship? Surya is from a family which emphasizes marriages within the same caste whereas Jyotika is a North Indian. To establish a good relationship, both people need to play their roles very well. Surya was confident and strong in his love and he convinced his dad that he made the right choice. As a respect for his dad, Surya waited for the dad's permission. While Jyotika understands and accepts her husband's family tradition and follows it. She loves and takes care of her parents-in-law. Both of them look good together and are happy as always. They are my role-model.

Second, Abi-Ash

Abi recognises and acknowledges Ash’s fame, as compared to him, Ash is more famous. Abi is famous but his fame is more due to inheritance of the Bachchan’s name; not like Ash, where the name of Rai came into limelight thru her. Well, Abi is such an understanding person, plus with his open-mindedness secured a good marriage life. This is also enhanced by Ash’s smartness and obedience. Ash is such an obedient wife and daughter-in-law; she tries to live up to her in-law’s expectations. Their love includes give-and-take, where Abi is not being egoistic because of Ash’s achievement and Ash does not particularly emphasize her husband to be the greatest achiever. And of all, they are living happily.
